Deputies were dispatched to possible DUI collision on a residential street. When they arrived, witnesses told them that a man driving a small green SUV went off the roadway and struck two cars that were parked in a driveway. One of the cars was hit so hard that it had been pushed into the yard. Surveillance video confirmed that the suspect was driving at a high rate of speed and didn’t appear to make any evasive actions, such as braking, prior to the collision. The 21-year-old driver showed signs of impairment, so deputies conducted field sobriety tests. He was arrested for DUI and transported to the hospital for a blood draw.
