Early this morning, at 1:05am, a 911 caller reported that a man had been shot in the 200 block of 160th St S in Spanaway. The 911 caller said he walking in the area when he heard gunshots and then discovered the victim lying on the ground asking for help.
When deputies arrived, the 29-year-old victim said he knew who shot him and that the suspect also stole his vehicle. The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Detectives and forensic personnel processed the scene and are working to obtain surveillance video from the area.
