3/25 – 3/26/22, Overnight
Damage to Property
22200 blk 38th Ave E, Spanaway

A deputy was dispatched to a report of property damage at a high school. According to a school custodian, she had arrived at work and was trying to clean, but the power was out in several parts of the school. She went outside to the football field and noticed that wires had been dug up. The deputy observed that approximately 100 feet of wire had been dug up and parts of the lines were cut. The suspects left a couple screwdrivers behind. Fire personnel responded and assisted with turning off the power, and Puget Sound Energy was advised. There is no surveillance video of the incident.

Assault, Weapons Violation
9600 blk Portland Ave E, Parkland

Deputies were dispatched to a fight in a bar parking lot with shots fired into the air. When deputies arrived, witnesses pointed out the woman who had fired shots. A 50-year-old male in the parking lot told deputies that he was jumped in the parking lot by three males. He said that during the fight, the woman fired a shot into the air, then pointed the gun at him and threatened to shoot. The woman then went inside the bar and hid the gun in a toilet tank. Deputies retrieved the gun and arrested the 45-year-old woman for assault in the first degree and aiming or discharging a firearm.

Commercial Burglary, Motor Vehicle Theft
15800 blk 66th Ave NW, Gig Harbor

Deputies were dispatched to a commercial burglary at a fuel supplier. The owner reported that an unknown number of suspects broke into the secure area overnight. Once inside, the suspects broke into seven vehicles in the lot. They also stole a truck and rammed the gate with it to get out. The truck was located before the owner had a chance to report it stolen.

Theft
21700 blk Meridian E, Graham

A deputy conducted a traffic stop on an unlicensed vehicle that had a go-kart strapped to the top of it. When the deputy got out of his vehicle, the vehicle sped away. Since no pursuable crimes had occurred, the deputy was prohibited from chasing after it. A few hours later, the owner of the go-kart called to report that it had been stolen from a racetrack in Graham earlier that morning.

Possession of Stolen Vehicle
16500 blk Meridian E, South Hill

A patrol deputy was driving through a parking lot when he noticed a suspicious vehicle parked in a disabled spot. He ran the license plate and discovered that the car had been stolen in Olympia. The deputy noticed that the driver was sleeping, so he put stop sticks behind the tires in case he woke up and decided to take off. He woke up the 22-year-old driver and arrested him. The suspect had a shaved key and told the deputy he purchased the car for $200 from a stranger on Steele St. He was booked into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle.

Fraud
Gig Harbor

A 50-year-old male reported that he received an email alerting him of a transfer of his crypto currency. The alert said that $812,000 had been transferred from his account to another account. The victim provided a deputy with the account information for follow up and moved his remaining currency into another account.

3/27 – 3/28/22, Overnight
Commercial Burglary
10300 blk 156th St E, South Hill

A deputy was dispatched to a commercial burglary that occurred overnight at a sandwich shop. The glass front door was shattered, and the suspects stole cash from the safe. Deputies are working with the business to get surveillance video and with security guards to see if they saw anything suspicious.
