Tacoma, WA – December 21, 2006 – As power remains elusive for many residents, the threat of carbon monoxide poisoning looms.

The Center for Disease Control has provided some guidelines (in several languages and pictorial messages) that you can pass along to others who may not know about the dangers of carbon-monoxide poisoning. For example, using kerosene and gas heaters, generators and BBQ grills indoors (or in an enclosed space) can release an odorless, poisonous gas that can kill a person in minutes.
