Last week, the Puget Sound Auto Theft Task Force, along with the Gig Harbor Police Department, assisted the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD) in serving a search warrant on Key Peninsula.
PCSD had received an anonymous tip that a property was being used to store and traffic stolen property, including: trucks, motorcycles, recreational vehicles, heavy equipment, tractors and construction equipment. While searching the property, we located 21 stolen items including a stolen handgun.
The property owner was arrested, and we are working to reunite victims with their stolen property.
